Wilmington, DE - June 22, 2005 - Gnutelligence has announced the launch of a new service that allows businesses to target market to consumers on the Gnutella Peer-to-Peer (P2P) File-Sharing network. Users searching the Gnutella network using a Gnutella P2P client (LimeWire, BearShare, etc.) will now see sponsored search results for content relevant to their search criteria. If a user is interested in purchasing or learning more about the sponsored results, clicking on the link will launch a web browser to a sponsored website displaying relevant content.

Users will be able to preview and/or purchase content based on their search criteria, including music streams, artist album art, videos, games, mobile ring tones, and concert tickets. The Gnutella network currently connects more than 1.5 million simultaneous users who produce hundreds of millions of searches a day. In addition, as millions of new Gnutella clients are downloaded daily, the marketing opportunity to connect consumers looking for content and businesses providing relevant content and services, will continue to grow.
